A new application called Ratcast has been released. It provides voice and video streaming similar to Discord conferences but uses a fully peer‑to‑peer architecture, so participants connect directly without central servers.
The app is built on the author's librats network library and includes the ratcast library as an alternative to librist/SRT, aiming to simplify staying in touch for activities like watching movies or gaming together, especially where Discord is blocked.
