Mission
There is far too much news and less understanding. Headlines compete for attention, details get lost, and people are left alone with a stream where it is hard to tell the important from the loud.
We take on selection and explanation: we find the main thing, remove repeats and noise, and add to every story what is usually missing — why it matters and what follows.
What we cover
Games, technology, film, music, science, economy, sport, culture — what touches everyday life and our readers’ interests.
We do not cover politics or military stories — other newsrooms do. The exception is news about service blocks and bans that affect every user.
How we work
- We gather information from public sources — publications and Telegram channels — and merge duplicates into one story.
- We retell in our own words and name the source. Stories from Telegram channels run once several independent channels confirm them.
- To every story we add “why it matters” and “what it changes”.
- We caption photos and never use others’ images without credit.
- We say openly that we use neural networks for routine work — selection, retelling, explanations. Kontext+ explainers and digests are additionally checked against sources and pass an editor.
- We admit and fix mistakes: write to us if you spot an inaccuracy.
Values
- Facts over speed: better late than unverified.
- No clickbait: the headline promises what the text delivers.
- Ads are always labelled and never disguised as news. We do not run betting, casinos or 18+ content.
- Money does not shape our texts: reader support and advertising do not decide what or how we write.
- Mandatory labels — for example, about foreign agents — are always applied.
